Welcome to neurilace.net,* the website of SF author Philip K. Lentz.** In 2003 my unpublished science fiction novel INTERIM won first prize in Cinescape Magazine's Genre Literary Competition. The judges called it "reminiscent of sagas like Dune and Foundation, without ever being repetitive. It's thoughtful, but also a good old-fashioned page turner." In 2006 I began writing short stories, and my first acceptance is slated for the January 2008 issue of Jupiter SF. Another story of mine was recently shortlisted for Albedo One's 2007 Aeon Award. I write space opera, near-future SF, alternate history, historical fiction, some fantasy; the setting is whatever best serves the story. Sometimes the tone is dark, sometimes light, more often a blend of both. Click the flag to the right to learn more about the contest-winning novel, INTERIM, or you could skip right to the sample chapter. Join my mailing list and you'll be granted access to more material, including bonus novel samples and complete stories. Be sure to check out my blog. Thanks for visiting. |
